Darryl Knudsen | Founders' Committee

Founder and Principal Human Rights Consultant of TenVenn Social Equity, LLC, which offers custom services in supply chain human rights for clients of all sizes, Mr. Knudsen has deep experience in the apparel, retail, and electronics sectors.

Mr. Knudsen has worked in more than twenty countries around the world with stakeholders, such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Bank Group, governments, trade unions, multinational companies, and labor and human rights NGOs. Mr. Knudsen was appointed by two US Secretaries of Labor to serve on National Advisory Committees focused on trade and labor issues. He has served on numerous cross-sector boards, committees and working groups to advance the global agenda for improved human rights.
Mr. Knudsen was previously Director for Global Responsibility and Senior Advisor on Business and Human Rights at Gap Inc. He also led the Impact Measurement work of Fair Trade USA and is an advisor at Ulula, LLC, a provider of remote stakeholder engagement services.
While a member of SAI’s Advisory Board between 2009 and 2014, Mr. Knudsen served on the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board and as Chair of SAI’s Corporate Programs and Training Committee. During his tenure on the board, he provided strategic and tactical guidance to SAI leadership with an eye to balance brand integrity, mission alignment, constituency interests, and cost-effectiveness. Mr. Knudsen was elected to the Founders Committee in November 2014.
